Merry Riana (Chelsea Islan) who had just graduated from high school were forced to flee to Singapore because of the conditions in the country was unstable. Although actually wanted to stay, both parents are not allowed. The trip to the airport was also not safe; they were confronted by swarms of looters and forced to remove the property for the sake of safety. At the airport, the parents Merry (Ferry Salim & Cynthia Lamusu) sold what was attached to the body and just being able to buy a ticket. The important thing Merry survived, they thought.

So Merry arrived in Singapore alone. With the provision of money to buy food five times only to be discharged, he must find a place to stay and survive. Lectures and success into his dream seemed so far away.

But Merry despair. Of social media he had found her friend Irene (Kimberly Ryder) who is going to college there. With the help of Irene, Merry find a gap between the rules of Singapore is so tight and not only allowed to live in the dorm, he escapes selection tests and was admitted to one of the best universities there. Merry Smile necessarily lost when it all can only be obtained when Merry pay $ 40,000. The only hope is to take a student loan, which can only be obtained if Merry had a guarantor. Merry realized that he must study it correctly, but also aware that he needs to be successful as soon as possible. He did not want to cause her parents. He wanted to make his parents proud. So while in college he was thinking hard to double the money he had, ranging from working to spread brochures, online business, to play high-risk stock. Economic conditions was up and down, starting from only able to eat bread every day, eat well, to eat bread back again. As not enough with the existing problems, love chaos ensued when Alva expressed her feelings, while Merry aware Irene falling in love with Alva

Part Favorite :

The part that I like most is the spirit of a Merry Riana so extraordinary to achieve his goals. Although in a state of poor economic conditions and the family was getting into trouble in his hometown, but he never gave up or complained one bit. He was still trying hard to become successful. And in the end he was successful and found someone she loved and ready to receive any shortcomings in him. It is an inspiring story that we should imitation, in even the worst circumstances we should not despair and surrender to existing conditions. But so lashes for ourselves in order to try harder and achieve success. Nothing is impossible in this world while we keep trying and praying.

Mrs Chika                  : Well, today we’re going to discuss about a strategies to promote  several books that have already been published by our company.

Secretary                    : Ok, such a strategy of what we can apply to boost our book selling ?

Mrs Indira                 : First, we can make brochure which contains our promotion the list of book with price and discount. We give the brochures to people around office, school, and mall.

Mrs Chika                  : Yes, Alright Mrs Indira. The second of strategies is we can make a book bazaar every month in front of our office, and we also invite one of the best seller book’s writers to be a keynote speaker.

Secretary                    : I think that those ideas of promotion are good, we can combine them or with pain we can do the second thing in reconciled.

MAZHAB – MAZHAB PEMIKIRAN EKONOMI ISLAM KONTEMPORER

Agama islam hanyalah satu, yaitu agama yang haq dari Allah SWT. Oleh karenanya tidaklah mengherankan jika terdapat berbagai macam interpreatsi manusia tentang islam, termasuk tentang masalah ekonomi dalam islam. Tetapi hal ini tidaklah mengurangi arti eksistensi dan vitalitas islam. Justru merupakan keragaman yang digunakan untuk memperkokoh islam. Dari sisi karakter dasar pemikiran ekonomi islam pada saat ini, secara garis besar terdapat tiga mazhab ( corak pemikiran) utama yaitu : 

A.        MAZHAB BAQIR AS SADR

Ide dasar yang pertama dari mazhab ini adalah bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang mendasar antara ilmu ekonomi dengan islam, keduanya merupakan sesuatu yang berbeda sekali. Ilmu ekonomi adalah ilmu ekonomi sedangkan islam adalah islam, tidak ada yang disebut ekonomi islam. Menurut mereka islam tidak mengenal konsep sumber daya ekonomi yang terbatas, sebab alam semesta ini maha luas. Sehingga jika manusia bisa memanfaatkannya niscaya tidak akan pernah habis. Untuk itu mazhab ini mengusulkan istilah lain pengganti ekonomi yaitu iqtishad yang berarti setara, selaras dan seimbang. Implikasi lebih lanjut mereka menyusun teori ekonomi yang sama sekali baru. Teori ini didasarkan pada Al Qur’an dan Hadits sebagai sumber hukum islam tertinggi. Meskipun menganggap perlunya perombakan mendasar dalam ilmu ekonomi, bukan berarti tidak perlu sama sekali mempelajari ilmu ekonomi 

B.         MAZHAB MAINSTREAM

Mazhab mainstream memiliki anggapan bahwa perbedaan utama antara ilmu ekonomi konvensional dengan ekonomi islam adalah dalam hal cara mencapai tujuan. Mereka menyetujui tentang pandangan konvensional bahwa masalah ekonomi muncul karena adanya keterbatasan sumber daya ekonomi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia yang tidak terbatas. Dengan tetap memberikan pandangan kritis terhadap aspek – aspek normative dalam ilmu ekonomi, mazhab mainstream memfokuskan pada cara mengelola sumber daya yang terbatas dan keinginan manusia yang tidak terbatas. Sesuai dengan namanya, maka mazhab mainstream mendominasi khasanah pemikiran ekonomi islam dikarenakan pemikiran mereka lebih moderat serta ide – ide mereka banyak ditampilkan dengan cara – cara ekonomi konvensional sehingga lebih mudah diterima masyarakat. Selain itu kebanyakan tokoh merupakan staf, peneliti, penasehat, atau setidaknya memiliki jaringan erat dengan lembaga – lembaga regional dan internasional yang telah mapan sehingga dapat mensosialisasikan gagasan ekonomi dengan baik.

C.         MAZHAB ALTERNATIVE      

Mazhab alternative mengajak umat islam untuk bersikap kritis tidak saja pada kapitalisme dan sosialisme, tetapi juga terhadap ekonomi islam yang saat ini berkembang. Terhadap pemikiran Baqir As sadr mereka mengkritik bahwa langkah mereka justru tidak konstruktif dan esensial, sebab mereka berusaha menemukan sesuatu yang baru yang seringkali sebenarnya sudah ditemukan oleh orang lain, menghancurkan teori lama kemudian membangun teori baru. Demikian pula mazhab mainstream, ia tidak lebih dari pada pemikiran neoklasik dengan beberapa modifikasi, seperti menghilangkan riba, menambahkan zakat serta memperbaiki niat.
